Services and Amenities at The Gary Home

The Gary Home is a fully licensed residential care home. As such, we may provide room and board, nursing oversight, prescription medication management, and a variety of other services, but not full-time nursing care. We may also provide short-term stays, depending upon availability.

Our caring staff is always on hand to help with the needs of daily living such as bathing, dressing, toileting, arranging appointments, and shopping for personal needs. Cleaning and laundry services are provided for each resident.

The Gary Home maintains a congenial atmosphere. In addition to catching up with friends over dinner, you'll find there's always a bridge partner nearby, or someone ready to accept your challenge to a game of Scrabble. Individuals with similar interests in music, reading, or current events naturally gravitate to each other, forming groups to share their thoughts on a regular basis.

It is the purpose of The Gary Home to provide the support necessary for each resident to continue living a productive and meaningful life.

Our comfortable, cheery sunroom, living room and library are perfect for relaxing and for entertaining family and friends. Residents may also invite guests to join them for meals at a nominal charge.

The Gary Home provides transportation to medical appointments and local events in our car or 10 passenger van.

In addition to these services, The Gary Home also offers:

• On-site, 24 hour staff with registered nurse on call
• Automatic sprinkler system throughout the building, with alarm system linked to local fire station for immediate response
• Exterior door security system
• Fitness classes several times each week
• Daily planned activities
